Efectiv NutritionShopify

Fitness & nutrition SEO.
35% revenue growth.

90 days in a competitive niche. A sharper route from search to sale.

How I worked with Efectiv Nutrition on topical maps, customer journeys and Shopify product pages to grow organic revenue, not just traffic.

The 90-day result

More clicks.
More organic revenue.

The project summary reported growth across revenue and clicks, even through Google’s volatility. Here are the figures, with their reporting limits kept visible.

The commercial challenge

Don’t compete for
every fitness search.

Health and fitness is a crowded market. My focus was on revenue-oriented topics and the sub-niches where Efectiv Nutrition could build a more useful buying journey.

For a founder or CMO, the important connection is between demand, the page a shopper lands on and the products they can actually buy. A content calendar alone doesn’t solve that.

This was a team effort with Adam, Paul and Louis at Efectiv Nutrition. The ambition was to move towards industry leadership, not a claim that a No.1 position had already been achieved.

01 / 03

Find the demand worth building around.

I built topical maps for fitness sub-niches and mapped the user experience. The aim was to connect topics with a relevant buying journey, rather than treat every search as equally valuable.

Reading the outcome

Revenue-led.
Not a profit claim.

The 35% organic revenue increase is the commercial headline. The 35% organic click increase shows acquisition grew alongside it, but does not establish a conversion-rate improvement.

The separate 33% Google revenue figure comes from the original summary. Without a channel breakdown, I’m not labelling it Google Shopping growth or combining it with organic revenue.

Profit-led growth is the objective, but revenue is not profit. Margin, costs, returns and repeat purchases still need to be reviewed. These figures also don’t isolate the effect of each individual change.

My takeaway

Your best next topic
should have a route to sale.

Before adding another fitness article, ask which customer need it serves, which products are relevant and how a visitor gets from the answer to the right page. Then look at engagement and revenue, not just the ranking.

There was still market share to pursue after these 90 days. The next step was to keep improving the journeys and templates, not call the job finished.
